Learning Center - A.M.
Welcome to Learning Center - A.M., which is held five days a week from 8:00 - 11:30.
This program is specifically designed to target qualified students who can benefit from more intensive intervention and instruction academically, socially, and/or emotionally. Each student has individualized goals to help them meet their diverse needs at a growth rate that is appropriate to their specific needs.
Learning Center - A.M. houses up to and no more than 18 students, grades K-4. The students receive extensive one-on-one and small group instruction and intervention. Specifically trained instructional aides provide guidance and support to the students along with and under the direction of an education specialist teacher.
The program is blessed with the help from one-to-three Pleasant Valley High School students in the ACE-LIFE Careers With Children program at the high school. They come over four days a week for approximately 45 minutes each day to offer their support. In addition, our very own Foster Grandparent comes in to help the students.
