Homework reinforces what is learned at school and instills good work habits.

Homework is typically sent home on Monday, to be returned on Friday. Exceptions to this can include shortened weeks due to holidays or special circumstances.

Children should work on written homework for no more than 45 minutes each night, Monday through Thursday. They should also read for 20-30 minutes each night.

Our class does not have homework on weekends, so that students have time to spend with family and friends.

If you feel that your child is spending too much or too little time on their assignments, please let me know so I can work with your child toward a solution.

Please work with your child to reinforce the importance of homework, and to help guide them toward completion of their packet.
